The Honourable Keith Wilson will deliver the 2006 College Address.

Keith Wilson is a former Teacher, Anglican Priest and State Member of Parliament. He was a Minister from 1983 to 1992, holding various portfolios including Housing, Community Services, Aboriginal Affairs, Youth and Seniors. He was Minister for Health for five (5) years. More recently his involvements have included: Memberships of the Advisory Council For Disability Services, The Mental Health Taskforce and Management committees of the Mental Illness Fellowship of WA and Carers WA. He is patron of the Learning and Attentional Disorders Society of WA.
Keith is also currently the President of the WA Association for Mental Health, and Chair of the National mental Health Council of Australia.
He served as a Member of the National Governing Board of St John of God Health Care for ten (10) years.
Keith is a parent carer (with his wife, Angela) of an adult son with Schizophrenia.
College Orchestra
That most enjoyable of Congress traditions, the College Orchestra, will be continued in Perth, playing at the College Ceremony. A local chamber orchestra will act as the nucleus. Any delegates who would like to participate should contact Keith Bender at Keith.Bender@health.wa.gov.au

Gala Dinner includes presentation of the Pfizer Awards and the first announcement of the winners of the art prizes. After navigating the academic program over the first days of the Congress be transported into “Carnivale” where things might not always be what they seem, where there is opportunity to venture behind our daytime masks, or to bring with us a new one.
