Getting to and from the Airport

Buses
There is an Airport-City shuttle which has pick-up points conveniently located near hotels, motels and hostels in Perth, including Northbridge, the Central City, East Perth, West Perth, Mill Point Road and Great Eastern Highway. The buses meet every arrival within 45 minutes of customs clearance. This service is also available at the domestic terminal and meets each domestic arrival within 30 minutes of luggage collection.

Taxis
Taxi ranks are located outside Terminal 1 (International) and Terminals 2 & 3 (Domestic), and commissionaires are available to assist you during peak movement periods. You may be asked to pay your fare in advance, and the same fare applies to both a group or single person.

Hire Cars
If you require a hire car while staying in Perth, there are car rental companies at Perth Airport available to assist you when you arrive.

Car Parking
The City of Perth owns and operates the car park at the new Perth Convention Exhibition Centre through its business unit City of Perth Parking (CPP).

The carpark is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and has fully-trained customer service staff in attendance. The undercover carpark features the latest “pay on foot” technology, security patrols, closed-circuit television systems and a staffed control room. Car cleaning and detailing are among the services offered.

The parking rates are as follows:
Monday–Sunday 24 hour period hourly rate $3.50
10 hours maximum $11.00
12 hours maximum $17.50
24 hours maximum $35.00

Child Care Facilities
The Citiplace Child Care Centre, a unique and purpose-built inner city child care facility run by The City of Perth, is able to provide child care facilities to RANZCP delegates. The Centre is staffed by Qualifi ed Child Care Workers and Assistant Child Care Workers. All the Staff have current First Aid Certificates and all have current and clear Police Clearances. The children in Occasional Care usually bring there own lunches however they would be happy to supply Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea to the children at an additional cost of $5.00 per day.

Located in the central City Station Complex on the corner of Barrack and Wellington Streets, the Centre is in close proximity and easily accessible to the train, both Transperth and the CAT Bus services, and the Citiplace Carpark (entrance off Roe Street). Opening hours for occasional care are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. The cost is $7.50 per hour with bookings to be made two weeks in advance. Child Activities – Kids In Perth
Perth is a great place to holiday with children of all ages. Why not bring your family to Perth during Congress or extend you stay with them. Information packs containing brochures of child friendly activities and more are available for ordering via the registration brochure.

Dress Code
Please note that dress standard for the conference will be smart casual.

Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate Registration Fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Congress Offi ce accepts no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

Liaibility Disclaimer
In case of industrial disruption the Congress Committee, RANZCP and the Congress Offi ce accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates.

Local Travel
The Perth Convention Exhibition Centre is easily accessible by car and public transport, being well positioned close to train & bus routes and is located on the Bus Port site on Mounts Bay Road. Name Badges
All delegates will receive a name badge upon registration. This badge is the offi cial pass and must be worn to obtain entry to all Conference sessions, social events and associated activities.

The Registration and Information desk at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre will operate during the following hours:

With the exception of New Zealand citizens traveling on New Zealand passports all foreign nationals must obtain a Visa/ETA before traveling to Australia.
